Ruby Durant

Ruby Durant is a senior at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), studying public relations with a minor in popular culture studies. Currently, she is a communications and editorial assistant in CSUN's Strategic Communications and Brand Management department, a graphic design assistant for Hollywood Photo Booth, and an influencer account assistant for Arsenic Agency.

Previously, she was a social media marketing Intern for the music and sports apparel company Official League, where she had the opportunity to work on campaigns with NWSL and AHL teams, Green Day, and more. After joining CSUN’s PRSSA chapter in the fall of 2023, she has grown from serving as their event coordinator to now being the social media manager and co-president. Across these roles, Ruby has developed skills and grown her love for media strategy, brand storytelling, and audience engagement.

After graduation, Ruby hopes to work in PR, brand partnerships, and social media management in sports and music.
