Bio: Ariel Thompson is a dynamic music publicist dedicated to elevating artists across Electronic Dance Music, Hip-Hop, and Pop. As the Senior Publicity Coordinator at Interscope Capitol, she works with a diverse roster, including Aaron Hibell, Alesso, Anyma, BJRNCK, Braden Bales, Lexa Gates, Natalie Jane, Star Bandz, Machine Gun Kelly, and many more. Her journey in the music industry began with a deep-rooted passion for electronic music, writing for leading EDM publications such as EDMTunes and EDMIdentity. While pursuing a degree in Public Relations at San Diego State University, she gained hands-on experience through internships at MSOPR and Rephlektor PR, where she worked with a variety of electronic artists and honed her expertise in festival press. Coming from a humble background with no initial industry connections, Ariel built her career from the ground up through perseverance, dedication, and an unwavering love for music. Today, she continues to make an impact, shaping the next generation of the music industry and bridging the gap between emerging talent and some of the biggest names in music.

Paint & Sip with Kayleen Sullivan
Kayleen Sullivan serves on the Communications team at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, managing digital and creative storytelling, content strategy, and strategic programmatic communications to advance the mission, brand and vision of the Hilton Foundation.
Prior to working at the Foundation, Kayleen managed marketing and communications, branding, public relations, events, fundraising and web development for nonprofit organizations. She has worked as a development and community relations manager at FIND Food Bank and operations manager for Dolgin Digital Media, supporting digital media strategy and content development.
Kayleen received a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a certificate in content strategy and storytelling from the University of Washington. Ask her about her favorite music venues and parks in L.A.!

Guest Speaker: Katerina Chryssafis
Katerina is the Marketing and Public Relations Manager at Viewpoint School, where she leads PR efforts, promotes and manages events, and oversees marketing projects. She also serves as the school’s "reporter," covering events and highlighting key programs and activities both on and off campus. With a background in broadcast journalism as a multimedia journalist and weather anchor, Katerina brings expertise in storytelling through writing, video production, and editing. Prior to Viewpoint, she worked as a Public Relations Account Executive at BAM and PR Coordinator at JSA+Partners, where she gained valuable experience in media relations, project management, and content creation. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from California State University, Northridge.
